Cancellation & Refund Policy
Below are the terms under which you can cancel a booking and how refunds are made.
1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
For accommodation services booked for a specific date or period, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does NOT apply (Romanian GEO 34/2014, art. 16(l), transposing Directive 2011/83/EU). Refunds follow the cancellation policy below, which you accept when confirming the booking.
2. Cancellation terms
Cancellation at least 14 days before arrival: full refund, less a 25 RON fee (bank charges). Between 14 and 7 days: 50% refund, less the same 25 RON fee. Less than 7 days, no-show or during legal holidays (Christmas, New Year, Easter): the amount paid is non-refundable, as the reserved period is held exclusively for you, with the risk of being unable to resell the services. At our discretion, the amount may be converted into a voucher valid for 12 months, usable for a future booking or for a 4x4 tour.
3. How to request a cancellation
Send a request to contact@azad.house or via WhatsApp, stating the name and dates of the booking. Refunds are made to the same account used for payment, within up to 14 days of confirming the cancellation.
4. Changing a booking
If you want to move your stay to another period, write to us — we try to find a solution based on availability, without guaranteeing the same rate for the new period.
